Sunlighten mPulse Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna

Infrared light is one part of the electromagnetic spectrum. It occurs naturally as the non-harmful component of the sun’s radiation. Infrared heat is safe and has the ability to penetrate our bodies at a cellular level to produce a range of health benefits. Near, mid and far infrared light provides activity to gently and safely detoxify, oxygenate and stimulate vitality.

The science of sweating:

Sweating is a natural bodily function that plays a crucial role in maintaining optimal health. The human body uses sweat as a mechanism to regulate temperature and eliminate toxins. Traditional saunas induce sweating through high temperatures, but infrared saunas take a unique approach by using infrared light to directly heat the body, promoting a deeper and more effective sweat.

In the controlled environment of an infrared sauna, the heat stimulates the sweat glands, facilitating the elimination of heavy metals, endocrine disrupting chemicals, and other impurities.

Saunas have long been regarded as a wellness therapy, and in recent years there has been renewed interest and research into the benefits of infrared saunas. Compared to intensive exercise as a method to build up a sweat, which is not always possible or practical (particularly for someone with a chronic disease or injury), a sauna is a more passive method to achieve detoxification.

Benefits of IR Sauna:

  • Anti-ageing: Near-infrared LED light increases levels of collagen and elastin in the skin, revitalising the skin’s appearance and helping you feel renewed.
  • Detoxification: Research highlights that sweating in an infrared sauna can significantly enhance elimination of heavy metals and environmental toxins.
  • Pain Relief: Infrared sauna therapy has shown promise in providing a significant reduction in pain and stiffness among patients with sporting injuries, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis.
  • Sports recovery: Infrared saunas enhance circulation to muscles, decreasing delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and speeding up the repair process.
  • Weight loss: Infrared saunas increase metabolic rate and can support calorie burn and weight loss programs
  • Sleep benefits: Infrared sauna may support a better sleep/wake circadian rhythm when used regularly
  • Cardiac health: The potential cardiovascular benefits of infrared saunas are particularly noteworthy. Research suggests that regular use of infrared saunas may lead to improvements in blood pressure and vascular function, contributing to overall cardiovascular well-being.
  • Relaxation: an infrared sauna offers a uniquely rejuvenating experience. Take time out of a busy day to feel renewed.
  • Infrared saunas aren't just for the young and healthy: Waon therapy: is the gentle Japanese method of supporting elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Regular 15 min infrared program + 30mins rest afterwards can improve blood pressure, exercise capacity and vitality in elderly patients.
